A family business obsessed with great wood.
Founded in 1998 in Paris, we have spent nearly three decades sourcing timber from sawmills we know personally.
Our story
M Bois Negoce was started by Marc Boulanger in a small yard on the eastern edge of Paris. Two decades later, the team has grown but the principle has not changed: every plank we sell, we would happily lay in our own home.
We travel each year to the forests and sawmills we work with — in France, Scandinavia, the Baltics and South America — to negotiate stock, check grading and keep our suppliers honest. The result is a curated catalogue: a small number of products, all of which we trust.
Today we serve architects, contractors and homeowners across France with same-week shipping from our two depots in Paris and Lyon. Our showrooms are open Monday to Saturday — come in for a coffee and a chat about your project.
